2012 Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon

2,000 triathletes attended the 32nd Annual Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon on Sunday, June 10th, 2012. The athletes faced many obstacles which included a 1.5 mile swim through the San Francisco Bay from Alcatraz Island to the St. Francis Yacht Club shores, then on to 18 mile bike ride, and finally, an 8 mile run through the Golden Gate Recreational Area.
