Cake and Modest Mouse at the Fox Theater

The Fox Theater hosted Cake and Modest Mouse in a back-to-back concert weekend (02/21 - 02/22), marking the venue's second week of reopening. The downtown Oakland building first opened in 1928 but went into decline in the 1960's and permanently closed in 1970. The Fox reopened after a $2.9 million extensive renovation on February 5, 2009.
