With San Francisco Supervisors considering a citywide ban of nudity, with the exception of a few events like Pride and Folsom, nudists in the Castro rallied on Saturday, October 20, 2012. "Lets rally together in our jock straps, chaps, or whatever shows your ass in public," reads the Facebook page for the event by its organizers. "Nudity welcomed. If you come nude, know that current laws state you can not be lewd in public meaning you can not have a hard on, and can not perform sexual acts in any way. Its a celebration of the human body and to protect our rights."
