Pie or Die @ SF Food Wars

Competitors with pie in the sky hopes rumbled for the top spot at SF Food Wars' Pie or Die contest at which, the organizers helpfully pointed out, everyone pied and no one died The first place winner was Team Eat the Love, who baked a "Check(mate)Please!" lemon chess pie.
