I support animal rights because comapsion to all things is important, of course some people take it too far and PETA has a lot of good that they do I don't agree with everything but they are better than right wingers who want to kill everything on the planet that they have a sense of entitlement about killing and get in their patented snide up on a high horse stance about people who are active about what they believe. I have seen these animals first hand. They come in fucked up from a life of abuse, starvation, and neglect. Learn the facts first. They are actually one of the most non-hypocritical groups out there. They are animal rights/animal liberation, not purely based in animal welfare (which is what most no-kill shelters practice--they live in HORRIBLE conditions). Animal welfare adds an inch of a space to the cage, animal liberation says get rid of the cage. Would you rather live in a caged, filthy environment full of deprivation and abuse, or die a peaceful death? Think about it.PETA is the only organization getting its point across daily.
