The Princess Taiping, a handcrafted Chinese Junk and replica of a Ming Dynasty war ship, was supposed to end up in Vancouver after a 69-day motor-less voyage across the Pacific Ocean from Japan. But a tropical storm drove it to Eureka, CA, instead on Saturday and the crew has since decided to sail south. The junk arrived in San Francisco yesterday (10/14) and plans to stay on for around a week before proceeding to Long Beach. Photos by Jeff Grossman and Janine Kahn.

Princes Taiping doesn't meet shipbuilding requirements in both China and Taiwan, for the law aspect, she is illegal! The shitbox is full of engine, GPS, weather fax, radio, and Liu Ning-Sheng's woman (He is a divorce ), how can he call her a replica of Ming Dynasty war ship?! Liu Ning-Sheng has been in inoccupation for most of his life, he has a lot of time, all he want is publicity, more money and more woman! The over-painted old pimp can't represent Chinese culture!
