Pie Fight on Powell Street

San Francisco tourists and commuters ran for cover Thursday afternoon as folks in formal wear launched pies at each other at the Powell Street Cable Car Turnaround. Attendees were asked to BYOP (bring your own pie) and forewarned that shaving cream would be more pleasant than the whipped variety. Photos by Gretchen Robinette.
