Legendary German Krautrock band faUSt performed at The Chapel this past Wednesday, July 25th, with support by Avante Garde punk act Ernsthafte Angelegenheiten.
Featuring original members Werner “Zappi” Diermaier on bass, and Jean-Hervé Péron on drums, faUSt were accompanied by an additional half-dozen performers, playing a mixture of fan favorites such as “Krautrock” and “The Sad Skinhead”, along with newer material such as “Fresh Air”. The ensemble made use of unconventional instruments while smashing televisions with sledgehammers and pounding steel barrels with pipes.
