Electronic rock duo Fischerspooner paid a visit to San Francisco’s Regency Ballroom this past Wednesday, March 14th in support of their latest full-length release, ‘Sir’. The performance saw vocalist and lyricist Casey Spooner joined onstage by additional bandmates handling bass guitar, keyboard, and drumming duties.
A casting call was put out for local talent, which led to the stage show including dancers melding pop-and-lock moves with ballet, and leather models striking poses and interacting with Spooner. Multiple costume changes by the band’s frontman, a large dose of humor and intentional performance snafus, and a set that mixed tracks from the latest album with a sprinkling of classics did well to entertain.
