Lee “Scratch” Perry Jan. 23, 2018 at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael

Lee “Scratch” Perry performed a unique and high-energy filled night of music to a packed crowd at Terrapin Crossroads, the San Rafael venue owned by Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead. 81 year old Perry is hitting the road for a series of sold out shows in support of his most popular album of all time in the US Super Ape Returns To Conquer with a unique blend of reggae, electronic music, and dub. His band Subatomic Sound System brings a youthful energy to the music and help to create something unique and new. The highly influential Perry has been an innovator and inspiration to generations of artists since the 1960’s when he produced many essential tracks and created an iconic sound for some of reggae’s greatest stars including Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Wailer. His style has evolved throughout the years keeping fresh and inventive.
