Absent from San Francisco for nearly five years, Twin Shadow performed at San Francisco’s iconic Rickshaw Stop this past Friday, April 20th. Frontman George Lewis Jr. asked the audience if they were enjoying their 420 “holiday”, and indulged them in a brief story about his stoned rideshare drivers before diving back into his set. Touring in promotion of the latest album, ‘Caer’, Twin Shadow kicked off the set with a number of tracks from that set before digging into favorites like ‘Golden Light’ (which a group of girls screamed/requested for about 20 minutes of the set), and a stripped down, acoustic version of “Five Seconds”.
