"Lucky to be alive" - after getting shot twice in the face

The Department of Public Health is confirming a 4:35 a.m. shooting on Saturday at 24th in the Mission District at 24th and Hampshire.

The victim, a 22 year old Latin male, had been shot twice in the face AND once in the lower body ... and lived. He is now reportedly in stable condition at San Francisco General Hospital ED, and "fortunate."
