Remember how L. Ron Hubbard invented Scientology on a bet? Well, he didn't really invent it so much as he may have copied it from a 1934 German book called Scientologie. Scans of the book are making their way across the internet. The text makes about as much sense as Scientology itself: "The natural substance lets itself further combine with the form-elements of space and time. We receive then: 1. A space-substance: matter 2. a time-substance: power 3. a space-time-substance: movement." Mmmmmmmwhat? –Andy Wright
