Poor Virgin Megastore -- Why Must It Close Twice?

As SF Weekly wrote last month, the city is getting ready to kiss one more virgin goodbye. Bad enough the Virgin Megastore succumbed to the lethal 1-2 punch of a crap economy and digital music downloads -- did they have to die twice as this sign seems to indicate?

Re-Closing? This is a puzzler; death, like virginity, is something you can only really do once.

Then we walked around the block. This sign actually reads "STORE CLOSING." Our notions about death, virginity, and the economy were correct all along.
