Rainbow at Mission Bay -- Coooooool!

Anyone who'd characterize Mission Bay as a soulless scrap of concrete strewn with clumps of medical buildings and condos resembling the structure on the Stolichnaya label -- well, now it's all that with a hell of a rainbow.

Those seeking the pot of gold should race down to the vicinity of Pier 50. Aptly, that's the lucrative piece of land Larry Ellison coveted so during the city's America's Cup negotiations -- and near which the San Francisco Giants purportedly harbor hopes for a waterfront arena and retail strip of their own.

But we really know what's at the end of the rainbow:
