It's been nearly seven weeks since Bryan Stow, 42, was tragically beaten outside Dodger Stadium after the opener game. He survived a risky brain surgery, but has yet to wake up from his coma.

Still, his family said today that Stow is stable enough to move from a hospital in Los Angeles to UC San Francisco Medical Center. It's closer to his home in Santa Cruz, where his two kids live. The family met with NBC in Los Angeles, giving the media outlet an exclusive interview, where they talked about Stow's condition and what's next for the beaten Giants fan.

"We're just looking for any sign that he can hear us," Stow's sister, Erin Collins tells NBC.
