Top 5 Reasons Californians Are Moving to Texas

Posted By on Tue, Nov 29, 2011 at 2:30 PM

The word "crisis" has become a ubiquitous term to describe California: Budget crisis, education crisis, water crisis, immigration crisis. Even state parks are, sadly, in a state of "crisis."  With all these crises, it doesn't really surprise us that Californians picked up and left in droves last year. But what did throw us for a fun loop was to learn that most of those Golden State denizens left for, of all places, Texas -- where something is only considered a "crisis" when it's just not big enough.

So aside from the fact there is no income tax there, why Texas?
