Crime Stoppers is offering a $35,000 reward in exchange for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the shooters who fired 40 rounds in West Oakland Monday evening, leaving five people in critical condition, including 1-year-old Hiram Lawrence, who was shot in the head.

A group of people were outside a liquor store on Willow Street shortly after 6 p.m., making a rap video, when gunfire erupted, hitting a total of seven people. Police have not named any suspects, but they have identified several "persons of interest."

Oakland-based rapper Kafani was filming a video outside the liquor store when the shooting happened. He told reporters the toddler who was hit is his cousin.

Police are hoping more witnesses will come forward to help identify the shooters. They are also reviewing surveillance footage from the liquor store, which captured the shooters on video.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call or send a text message to (510) 773-2805.
