San Francisco police are asking all you ravers to leave your pacifiers at home and stay away from Treasure Island this weekend, where an illegal rave is reportedly being planned.

Officer Albie Esparza tells us that a parent tipped off SFPD, saying that kids are planning to attend this rave on Yerba Buena Island Saturday night. However, police have not been able to confirm this. "We tried contacting promoters to see if anyone knows about it -- but nobody does," Esparza says.

In any event, SFPD is going to be prepared just in case; cops, including the California Highway and the Coast Guard, will be swarming the island come Saturday to make sure this party doesn't happen.

Here's what SFPD has to say about it:

PUBLIC ADVISORY: "Project X" event scheduled for Yerba Buena Island on Sat, 8/18/12, is NON-PERMITTED & ILLEGAL. SFPD has notified California Highway Patrol & US Coast Guard of this event. Check points will be established & entry onto the island on that date will be limited. Trespassing, vandalism & other related crimes associated with an event of this nature will be enforced.
And if enough of you go anyway? "We will have to shut it down somehow," Esparza told us.

Well, a party isn't really a party until the cops show up, right?

Phish is in the midst of a block of sold out shows at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium (October 27-29). The Monday night concert featured a rare first set opener of “Walfredo” with the band members switching instruments for the song. The evening’s highlights included John Fishman and his iconic vacuum cleaner solo and favorites such as Chalk Dust Torture, Slave to the Traffic Light, Axilla, Rift, 2001 Space Odyssey, and Maze. The show also featured Phish’s debut of a, seemingly impromptu, version of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” to with roaring approval of the, singing along, crowd. With Game 6 being tonight, partying Phish fans will join Giants fans in Civic Center Plaza where there will be a World Series viewing party on a large screen set up by the City.
