Medical authorities have identified the 38-year-old man who was shot to death over Labor Day weekend as Jonathan Bullock of San Francisco.

Officer Gordon Shyy says Bullock was on the 1500 block of Broderick Street about 4:20 a.m. on Saturday when two men fired multiple shots at the victim. The suspects ran off in an unknown direction.

Bullock was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he died from his gunshot wounds. Police had no more information about the shooting, nor were they able to give us a description of the suspects at this time.

The shooting marks the city's 47th homicide this year. In July, 26-year-old Edmundo Sandoval was shot to death in a double shooting in the city's Portola neighborhood.

Anyone with information related to the latest homicide is asked to contact the anonymous tip line at 575-4444, or Text-a-Tip to TIP411 and include SFPD in the subject line.
