Medical authorities identified the man who was killed in a solo crash over Labor Day weekend as 39-year-old Daniel Williams of San Francisco.

Williams was riding his motorcycle through Golden Gate Park on Saturday night when he hit a light pole and crashed, police said. He died at the scene.

Police have not yet determined the cause of the crash, which happened at the intersection of Kezar and Martin Luther King Jr.
