San Francisco homicide investigators caught up with the armed and dangerous man who they believe is partly responsible for the shooting death of 21-year-old Jesus Solis.

On Tuesday, police arrested 20-year-old Dylan Lemalie of San Francisco at the Hall of Justice and charged him with murder. He had been on the lam since Sept. 16, when Solis was fatally shot on the 1200 block of Treat Street during an altercation shortly after 4 p.m.

Last week, police arrested 18-year-old Adrian Landers on suspicion of murder after police spoke with him at the Hall of Justice. At that time, they issued an public alert on Lemalie describing the fugitive as armed and dangerous.

Homicide investigators spoke with members of Lemalie's family, who convinced him to surrender to authorities.

That same week, an undercover police officer shot Oliver Barcenas, who they say was on his way to avenge the killing of Solis. According to police, Barcenas pulled a Tec-9 pistol, which was loaded with 25 rounds,

and turned toward the cop, who fired multiple times, injuring the alleged gang member. Barcenas is scheduled to appear in court later this week.
