Original story 2:56 p.m.: A San Francisco woman posted this photo on Facebook of her 15-year-old niece who she says has been missing since yesterday afternoon.
Caitlin Olson posted the following message on her Facebook page earlier this morning:
ATTN San Francisco: My 15-year-old niece went missing yesterday afternoon. If anyone has seen her around San Francisco in the last 20 hours, or knows ANYTHING, please call me immediately. She was last seen December 3 at 3 PM wearing cheetah print leggings, (possibly) around Powell Station. Her name is Alyson and she means the world to me. Come on, Internet, bring her home safe
San Francisco Police Sgt. Michael Andraychak said a juvenile named Alyson was reported missing yesterday; however, he's trying to confirm information about this case.
Olson says on her Facebook page that the family has talked to security at the Westfield Mall, which is one of her main hangouts, near where she was seen last, as well as the foot patrol around Powell Street.
The girl's phone has been dead since yesterday. "She normally checks in, no matter what. This is out of character," Olson said on Facebook.
If you've seen her, call San Francisco Police at 575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 followed by SFPD.
