It's official: The city's most quirky watering hole is scheduled to reopen to tourists and local drunks -- for real this time.

Patrons of the Gold Dust Lounge had been anticipating the bar to open its doors at its new location tonight; however, last week, the owners postponed the grand party until further notice.

Well, here's your notice.

The Gold Dust Lounge's is now scheduled to open on Feb. 1, with a weekend-long party capped off with a special Super Bowl Sunday event.

Lee Houskeeper, spokesman for the bar, gave us the official itinerary for the opening weekend:

On Feb. 1, at 4 p.m., Willie Brown will don a cowboy hat, hop into a wagon with western actor and San Francisco native Stuart Whitman, and travel from the old Gold Dust Lounge in Union Square to the new location in Fisherman's Wharf. They'll meet the mayor for the ribbon cutting and maybe a beer (that's just our guess). At 7 p.m., the doors will open to anyone and everyone who wants to get drunk. There will be a roaring '20s band playing outside the bar, and doormen dressed as sheriffs will greet you upon arrival.

Inside, expect to see a Gold Dust Lounge fixture: Johnny Z and the Camaros.

On Saturday, the bar will be closed to everyone but the fishermen of Fisherman's Wharf. To get in nice with the neighbors, the Gold Dust Lounge has invited other businesses along the wharf to partake in some adult beverages. "It wasn't hard to find fishermen who like to drink," Houskeeper told us.

The doors will open again to the public at 7 p.m.

If you love football as much as you love the Gold Dust Lounge, then you may want to watch the Super Bowl at the bar on Sunday. Space is limited, so sign up now on the bar's Facebook page.

There's more opening day surprises to come, but that's all you get to know for now.
