We were delighted when we came across this video created by Ken Murphy, a San Francisco artist, who took nonstop snapshots of the city's sometimes heavenly and sometimes foggy sky from atop the Exploratorium museum.
The end result was a time-lapse video with 360 movie panels that display the nuances of San Francisco's celestial sphere.

This is a year-long time-lapse study of the sky. From these images, I created a mosaic of time-lapse movies, each showing a single day. The days are arranged in chronological order. My intent was to reveal the patterns of light and weather over the course of a year.Hopefully this inspired you to stop looking at your phone, and check out the sky today.
