If you're as nutty about your dog as you are about Star Wars, then keep reading.

On Saturday, Aug, 31, Petco is hosting what might be the zaniest event of the year, where you and your pet can chill with Darth Vader and Princess Leia while admiring the upcoming Star Wars pet fan collection.

Finally, your dog's outfit will match your Chewbacca iPhone 5 case.

Starting Sept. 1, you can head down to any Petco and purchase Star Wars gear for your pet, including a Darth Vader doggie bed, Chewbacca chew toys, or a Yoda cat headpiece (whatever that is).

You and your pet will get a sneak peek at the merchandise at the Aug, 31 event, which will be held at 2300 16th St., suite 200 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. After a little browsing, you can (and absolutely should) get a Star Wars photo with your dog or cat. Don't forget to frame it for all your house guests to see.

Needless to say, these are not the dogs you're looking for. You can go about your business. Move along.
