If you're like us, you are probably feeling a bit helpless about the Rim Fire that's ripping through Yosemite. But alas, there is something you can do to help that won't require as much as a water hose.

The Yosemite Conservancy has now established a fund where you can kick in cash that'll help rebuild the areas that have been totally ravaged by the fire.

"The Rim Fire has burned hundreds of thousands of acres in portions of Yosemite National Park and the surrounding forests and communities. Your gift will go directly to the National Park Service to help restore trails, facilities and wildlife habitat destroyed by fire in Yosemite," the Conservancy says.

Donation amounts start at $50, but please give more if you can. Your contribution is 100 percent tax deductible.

If you have questions please contact us by email or call 800-4MY-PARK (800-469-7275).

If you prefer to mail your donation please print this form and send it to:

Yosemite Conservancy

101 Montgomery Street, Suite 1700

San Francisco, CA 94104

or fax to 415-434-0745
