Another naked man made a public appearance in the Bay Area, this time halting Caltrain during the morning commute.
KTVU reports that a naked man in his 20s sat on the railroad tracks Thursday morning at a Caltrain station in Santa Clara, causing minor delays but a major show. The naked man was reportedly distraught and not capable of giving officers his name.
Police finally restrained him and took him to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, said Santa Clara police Lt. Kurt Clarke said.
"We don't know who he is," Clarke said, adding that he had no identification or clothing anywhere around him.
The man's morning appearance caused delays on three Caltrain northbound and southbound trains, but only by about eight minutes, said Christine Dunn, spokeswoman for Caltrain.
