Medical authorities identified the man who was killed in a solo car crash Saturday night in San Francisco as 68-year-old James Tartt.

Tartt was killed just after 10 p.m. when the car he was in crashed into the wall on Interstate 80 at the Fifth Street off-ramp. When officers arrived, Tartt was not breathing. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to Bay City News.

Two other people in the car were injured, however as of Sunday evening police did not know their condition.

The California Highway Patrol blocked off the Fifth Street off-ramp along I-80 for about an hour while investigators cleared the scene.
