Medical authorities this morning said the elderly pedestrian who was killed yesterday in a hit-and-run collision was 81-year-old Yeung Oi.

Police have yet to find the driver who plowed into Oi as she was walking along Visitacion Avenue near Bayshore Boulevard yesterday morning just after 11 a.m. However, they released a still photo from surveillance showing the car that they say was involved in the incident.

According to police, the driver was headed east on Visitacion Avenue and hit Oi as she turned left onto Bayshore Boulevard. The driver continued toward Leland Avenue before making a U-Turn. He then slowly drove by the collision scene and then sped off toward Bayshore Boulevard, says Officer Gordon Shyy.

The vehicle was described as a white dodge Durango suv with a black ski rack. The driver was described as a Hispanic male or light-skinned black male.

If you have any information about this incident or the suspect vehicle, call the cops now.
