Rat Poop, Rodents Seen at San Francisco Walgreens Stores

Rats infesting San Francisco dog parks and tourist attractions is one thing. Rats populating the shelves at your local Walgreens store is a whole other health issue.

Especially if you're one to dine on the fruit and boiled eggs there.

KRON4 has revealed that another Walgreens, this one in downtown San Francisco, is reportedly dealing with more rat infestation issues. The news station didn't get management at the Kearney Street location to talk, but witnesses say they've seen rodents running up and down the aisles amid shoppers.

Already, the Health Department closed down the Walgreens on Van Ness and Eddy last week after discovering rat poop and other disgusting things were living on the shelves along the aisles loaded with toys and food. The location was closed for a day while management did a wash down of every inch of the store.

But now KRON4 says there's another troubled Walgreens, although it doesn't appear the Health Department has yet confirmed this. Here's the full report:
