Update: Great news: Kristin has been located and is safe.

Authorities are looking for 31-year-old Kristin Visbal who went missing earlier this week in San Francisco.

Information is scarce at this time, but police confirmed that her friends and family filed a missing persons report after she disappeared on May 26. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Her friends tell us that they believe she was last seen heading to the train station at 21st Avenue and Lincoln which she took to get to her job at the Pomeroy Recreation & Rehabilitation Center. She was due to report there at 11 a.m..

"She last texted her friend at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. Her purse and phone are not in her room," her friend said in an email sent to SF Weekly.

Officer Albie Esparza says that police went to her house and she was not there. They also tried calling her cellphone and left a voice mail.

If you have seen Visbal please contact SFPD at (415) 759-3100 or SFPDTaravalStation@sfgov.org.
