Jessie Edwards, Carl Bradley Killed While Trying to Flee Gunfire in the Bayview

The Medical Examiner's Officer said this afternoon that it was 18-year-old Jessie Edwards and 27-year-old Carl Bradley who were killed when gunfire erupted in the Bayview neighborhood earlier this week. 

According to police, the two men were riding dirt bikes along the 1400 block of La Salle Avenue Sunday evening when an unidentified person began shooting. In a fast attempt to escape the bullets, both men crashed their bikes at the scene.

When police arrived, they found both men severely injured; the cops confirmed one of them had been shot. Both Edwards and Bradley were taken to San Francisco General Hospital where they later died. 

The exact cause of death has not been confirmed for either victim. The SFPD is still waiting for the Medical Examiner's report, says Officer Albie Esparza.
