Authorities are working this morning to identify the 30-year-old San Francisco man who was gunned down in a East Contra Costa County neighborhood early Sunday morning.

According to press reports, the victim was at a home on the 200 block of Lawton Street in Antioch at about 2:23 a.m. when he was shot multiple times. Police were called to the scene and found the victim "incapacitated," the Contra Costa Times reports.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Coroners Office is scheduled to perform an autopsy on the man later this morning. The victim will be identified at that time.

Anyone with information about this crime should contact Detective Jason Vanderpool at (925) 779-6988.
