Clever Alert! Clever Alert!

Fake God donuts, crossword-shaped paintings with eye-hurting pastel colors, and gauges for unfortunate emotions are the stock in trade of Walter Robinson. His work makes us think of the 3D version of Packard Jennings, except that it isn't philosophically underpinned with anarchy. We like his word-matching pieces, of which there are several at “[sic.]” Adam Chapman solos along with Robinson, with “Diagram of Isolated Moments Forming a Memory,” a series of super weird “custom electronics,” essentially tiny art film generators, sort of. Sometimes, they're watercolor-looking portraits, and sometimes they're randomly generated moving elements. But their frames are very traditional! See headline.
