What if your high school science class was taught by a cute guy who cracked jokes, and also you could drink alcohol during it? You'd look back a little more fondly on those chemistry sessions — although dissecting things and feeding the pet snakes in biology might've been a bit more risky if booze was involved. Tim Lee, who's got a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolution from UC Davis and has branded himself as THE scientist-turned-comedian, is performing at the Punch Line this week. His comedy's been called “cerebral” more than once, and his act always includes real info, data, charts, and PowerPoints, so you get to use your brain while you laugh. Fun! His YouTube videos are highly popular, if you want a primer to get you geared up for the performance.
