People who have a bit too much to drink tonight and would rather not drive home will be able to get a free cab ride. Under a program called Safe and Sober, adults who've been drinking will be provided a taxi ride home, according to William Berg of Berg Injury Lawyers, the firm that's sponsoring the program. Fares will be capped at $35. Taxi drivers will take people from bars or restaurants to riders' homes, not to other drinking establishments. Rides are available today starting at 3 p.m. and extending until 3 a.m.
