Beer Finder: Two Restaurants to Quench Your Thirst

For some, summer is beach dates and camping trips; for me, it is a season of increased beer cravings. There’s just something about languidly enjoying an ice-cold pint of the good stuff that makes it feel like summer. For my fellow beer lovers, here are two local restaurants have announced brew-based events that will make you very thirsty.

[jump] Beer Dinner with HenHouse and Social Brewery at Comal Restaurant.

The details: On Tuesday, August 25, Petaluma-based HenHouse Brewing Company and SF-founded Social Kitchen and Brewery will join Berkeley’s Comal restaurant for an evening of small batch beers paired with chef Matt Gandin’s Oaxacan dishes. Good food and good brews? That’s our kind of summer evening.

Hog & Rocks' new late night menu. 

The details: This Mission restaurant is more than ham and oysters. It’s now a place of tasty late night deals on Friday and Saturday nights. The scene stealer? House made sausage and a beer for just $15. Think pork bratwurst with zucchini pepper slaw and Flying Dog IPA.
