Brixton Stations Itself in Cow Hollow, Citizen Cake Claims Its New Place

The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the

San Francisco restaurant scene.

The paper version of Inside Scoop offers news of a new restaurant on Cow Hollow named Brixton (2140 Union St.) from the owners of Mas Sake and the Ambassador (among other places). It should open in mid-December. The pitch: ” American bistro with cocktails.”
Just as enticing, Scoop writes in the same post that the new Pacific Heights location of Citizen Cake (2125 Fillmore, www.citizencake.com) should be open in a few weeks.
According to Eater's Carolyn A., you need to postpone those plans to be the first to Yelp about Grub ― the restaurant's not opening until next Thursday. A warning: After overdosing ourselves on micro-updates about the Ike's closure, you're on your own from here on out. Let's hope this is the last one.
