Good Foods' Next Prix Fixe Planned as Neo-Soul Taste of Spring

On the strength of Dontaye Ball's menu alone, next week's Good Foods Catering's pop-up promises to be the best expression of Bay Area neo-soul since Goapele found her voice. Ball's dropping five courses on May 22: a late spring salad starring bacon toasted bread (the chef cures and smokes his own), creamy chicken and rice soup, chicken and waffles, salt-crusted Loch Duart salmon with pineapple-vanilla salsa, and strawberry shortcake.
