Little Star Pizza has opened a new South Bay shop, but few customers might realize this, since the one-week old Downtown Campbell restaurant is instead named Blue Line Pizza.
Little Star Pizza co-founder Brian Sadigursky has partnered with Angela Pace for this latest venture; their new business name is a homage to one of the train lines that run between O'Hare Airport and Downtown Chicago.
The menu features the same deep dish and thin crust pizzas that made Little Star famous in San Francisco, although the signature deep dish pizza has been rechristened Blue Line. Also on the menu are Little Star's spicy chicken wings (by the pound) and housemade NY-style cheesecake. The only menu differences we could notice was having more salads, a spicy beef meatballs appetizer, and panini during lunch.
