Speakeasy Tap Room: The local brewery's new, 12-tap Hunters Point taproom is speakeasy-themed, naturally. No grub at the moment, but you're welcome to bring your own, and there are occasional food trucks on Friday night. 1195 Evans, 642-3371.

Waraku: Ramen in multiple varieties is the focus of this new Japantown joint — including tonkotsu, shoyu, and dipping noodles — though the menu also features Japanese favorites like octopus balls, gyoza, and karaage. 1638 Post, 292-3388.
