SF Cocktail Week officially kicks off tonight with two events: the opening of the Boothby Center, new home of the Barbary Coast Conservancy of the American Cocktail. With its beverage lab and conference center, the Boothby seems designed for learning and forgetting, all at once. Tonight's fun continues at Laszlo, Foreign Cinema's bar annex, for an after party with San Francisco's own women of liquor (see listing below) joined by Seattle's Anu Apte.
In coming days we'll bring you a daily recap of the previous night's festivities, and an updated list of the day's upcoming festivities to help you plan your evening. Most of the events are reasonably priced at around $25 ― like tonight's kickoff party ― but don't forget about the week's free events.
To the drinkmobile! ― otherwise known as Muni, the stretch limo of the people.
