Where: 18th Street between Dolores and Guerrero
When: Sat., Sept. 29, 12-6 p.m.

The rundown: Bi-Rite Market hosts a bi-annual block party to raise money for six neighboring non-profits: 826 Valencia, The Women's Building, Nextcourse, Buen Dia Family School, Holy Family Day Home, and Bi-Rite affiliate 18 Reasons. For those unfamiliar with this particular block of 18th Street, it's quite delicious, and the participation of most of the great food and beverage businesses in the area (including Namu Gaji, Delfina, Tartine Bakery, Kasa Indian Eatery, Bi-Rite Creamery, and Out The Door) adds up to a very solid tasting event.
