What to Have for Lunch: Seafood Supremo Burrito at Orale Orale

Fri., May 14, 2010

Orale's Seafood Supremo is either S.F.'s classiest burrito or its trashiest crepe, a French-Mex hybrid that looks implausible on paper, but turns persuasive in the eating. The shroud-size flour tortilla cloaks shrimp and scallop hunks, bits of mahi-mahi, and throbbingly yellow paella, jumbled together with pinto beans and guacamole, all napped with a rather chalky béchamel. Just as you think it's skewing weird, you notice you've eaten it all.

Orale Orale 113 Sacramento (at Drumm), 291-9772.
