The teriyaki-like sauce approaches thickly reduced balsamic in sweetness, but it's a virtuous indulgence, considering it oozes from firm slices of tofu, on a Leadbetter's English muffin plush enough to stand in as a burger bun. Your fingers end up sticky ― a dribble of Samovar's Wuyi dark-roast oolong can take care of that. We're afraid there's no easy remedy for the tourist prices you pay here, perched above Yerba Buena, though the serenity you can glean through the high windows looking out over the gardens' trees and flower beds just might be worth the Visa charge.
