Wo Hing General Store Readies to Open, and the latest Tacolicious and Mosto On the Way

The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the San Francisco food scene.

Charles Phan's Wo Hing General Store will officially open tomorrow. Eater SF gives a sneak peek inside the Chinese street food-inspired restaurant during a test-run dinner. The Mission restaurant's sleek interior and Brooke Arthur's cocktail menu provide an anything-but-street scene for the dishes coming out of the kitchen (584 Valencia at 17th St.).

The latest Tacolicious and its adjacent tequila bar, Mosto, are set to open early next month. Grub Street reports, via PopSugar, diners may start grabbing tacos starting Nov. 7 and shots on Nov. 9. The menu will remain burrito free, but will still offer the Chocolicious taco, and boast a 30-seat patio.

Doughnuts have taken over the old Taco's Sandwiches spot. While rumor has it that Louisiana Fried Chicken kicked Taco's out of the spot, LiveSOMA unveils the sugary replacement that has already rolled into the storefront: Happy Donuts (6 Sixth St. at Market). They should have named it Taco's Sandwiches' Donuts.

The seasonal restaurant AQ is readying to open next month, and now LiveSOMA shares a look inside (think: industrial, and exposed brick).
