Pretty much every genre is well-represented in this week’s offerings of Bay Area shows. Rock — be it indie, alt, or pop — is particularly heavy this week, with bands like A Perfect Circle, Bleached, Hinds, Twin Peaks, and Simple Plan playing shows.
If you like reggae, both Rebel Souljahz and Toots & the Maytals are coming to the Bay, and Latin acts, like Los Rakas and Alex Cuba, are also playing gigs.
There’s also a ton of random artists on the list this week, too. Vanessa Carlton plays tonight (Monday) at the Fillmore, Hot Chip is doing a DJ set at Public Works, and Tech N9ne is celebrating the UC Theatre’s 1-year anniversary on Tuesday.
Check out the list below and listen to our playlist for the lowdown on the best live shows to see this week in the Bay Area.
