It’s a stacked week of live music here in the Bay Area, with the bulk of shows falling in the categories of rock and electronic music.
Pretty much every rock subgenre is represented, so take your pick. Like alternative-rock? Then catch Biffy Clyro at the Fillmore. Prefer indie-rock? Then see Kane Strang at Swedish American Music Hall. For prog-rock, there’s Tauk at GAMH, and for hardcore there’s Nails at New Parish and Envy on the Coast at Slim’s.
Electronic music lovers also have a lot of acts to choose from. A particularly heavy week for tech-house, don’t miss seeing Exicision, G Jones, Thomas Gold, or Will Clarke.
Perhaps the biggest name on this week’s list is pop singer Charli XCX who will be bringing her bubbly anthems to Rickshaw Stop on Sunday.
