Get Ready For Verdi Club’s Retro Winter Formal

Dubbed The Last Dance, this is one event that lovers of vintage and old soul and pop music shouldn't miss.

Fans of Verdi Club’s Winter Formal: Get ready to dust off your dancing shoes. It’s been two years since the venue’s last winter formal, hosted by San Francisco’s very own Dusty Stax, but now it’s back — although, by the looks of its name, it might be the last.

Dubbed The Last Dance, this Saturday, Dec. 3 party is bound to be brimming with retro soul and pop hits played by the Gold Star Soul Revue Band, throwback vintage outfits, and enough pomp and pizzazz that you’ll think you were at a 1960’s prom. (If you’ve never been to Verdi Club, the main dance room looks like an old auditorium — and could have very well been one back in the day — so the kitschy school dance vibe will feel very real indeed.) Plus, there will be a photo booth, so make sure you come dressed to impress.

Catch Dusty Stax Presents: The Last Dance at 8 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Verdi Club. $35; more info here
